Dr Jeffrey Keir
MBBS(Qld), BA(Qld), MFamMed(Clin)(Monash), DipPracDerm(Cardiff), ACCAM (Monash), FRACGP, FSCCANZ.
Dr Keir has had a strong interest in skin cancer for many years and has been practising skin cancer medicine exclusively for almost 10 years.
Having had several skin cancers himself at an early age, Dr Keir completed a Masters in Family Medicine from Monash University, concentrating on Dermatology and has a Diploma in Practical Dermatology (Distinction) from Cardiff University, Wales, where he is now a Tutor for their Dermoscopy Course, Postgraduate Dermatology Society and Diploma in Dermatology Course. He holds a Fellowship of the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand (Peter Bourne Prize), a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine (High Distinction) from the Skin Cancer Society of Australia, and is a past Lecturer for the University of Queensland postgraduate skin cancer course.
He is a member of the Melanoma Network, the Australia and New Zealand Melanoma Trials Group, the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia, the International Dermoscopy Society and the International Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin. He has presented a paper on melanoma at the 7th World Melanoma Congress in Austria and is the past Chair of the Research Committee of the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand.
He is an invited speaker on Lentiginous Melanomas and skin cancer surgery for the 2010 Australian Skin Cancer Conference, an invited speaker on Early Melanoma Detection for the 2010 North Coast Cancer Conference and a regular teacher for North Coast GP Training on skin cancer diagnosis and surgery.

Dr Karen Jenkins
MBBS(Adel), MMed(Skin Cancer)(Qld), FRACGP
Dr Jenkins has been in skin cancer practice for several years and has an interest in cosmetic medicine. She holds the degree of Master of Medicine (Primary Care Skin Cancer) from the University of Queensland. She has been a keen GP and registrar instructor and is a teacher in dermoscopy for North Coast GP Training. She is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Genevieve Yates
MBBS(Hons), FRACGP
Dr Yates has joined NRSCC after ten years of practising in the Noosa hinterland in Queensland. As a GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine, she is currently undertaking further studies in skin cancer. She is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand.
A medical educator of many years experience, Dr Yatesalso works for North Coast GP Training. She is on two national medical education committees and conducts teaching sessions for doctors all over Australia.
In 2010 she was awarded the Arts and Health Australia Awards for Excellence: Medical Humanities and Education award and nominated for National Medical Educator of the Year.
In her spare time she likes to indulge in a range of creative pursuits. Genevieve's a regular columnist for a major national medical newspaper (Australian Doctor), has had several short stories and a play published, a short film produced and four plays staged. Her first novel, Silver Linings, was published in 2011. She has also worked in film and TV, and performed on stage in plays, musicals and stand-up comedy. Genevieve teaches violin, plays piano, sings and plays in two orchestras.
